Hector is located along the eastern shore of Seneca Lake in the picturesque Finger Lakes region of New York State. It embraces an area of about ten square miles and is in the northeast corner of Schuyler County and is the southwest corner of a former military tract. It is formed of many villages and hamlets including Burdett, Cayutaville, Mecklenburg, Reynoldsville, Searsburg and Valois.

Wednesdays only: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Town Hall

Monday - Friday: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Evenings & Saturdays: By Appointment
Monday - Thursday: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (May through September)
Monday - Friday: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (October through April)
Water District Plant Office:
Monday - Friday: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
2nd & 4th Wednesdays: 6:30 pm (Justice Jaynes)
3rd & 4th Wednesdays: 5:30 pm (Justice Fitzsimmons)
