Water Meter Replacement Project

UPDATED INFORMATION:  I have been informed that the Water Meter replacement project will be completed by Zones.  Only Zone 1, the village of Burdett has been sent letters to make appointments.  There are 8 zones in the Water District.  Please wait for your letter to arrive before makiing an appointment.  This project will be ongoing for several weeks.

The Town Board has approved a project to replace every water meter within the Hector and Village of Burdett Water District.  A letter on Town of Hector Letterhead, signed by Town Supervisor White has been mailed to water service customers detailing instructions to set up an appointment calling New England Backflow Inc.   This is not an optional choice, it is mandatory that every meter within the Water District be replaced during this project.  With aproximately 700 meters to be replaced, we ask for your cooperation in making an appointment after you have received your letter.
