Court Information

COURT IS OPEN and is held on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of each month at 5pm.  Please call to confirm the date you should appear.  Bailiff will check everyone in and determine occupancy of room.  

Traffic tickets can be processed with a plea by mail and fines may be paid by mail or in person.  Those with traffic tickets that wish to seek a reduction, may contact the Schuyler County District Attorney's Office at 607-535-8383; reduction applications can be found on the Schuyler County web site under District Attorney. 

Fines Due may be mailed in or paid in person weekdays 9am to 4pm; NO PERSONAL CHECKS; credit cards accepted in person or mail in with fine notice; payments via credit cards cannot be processed over the phone; cash and money orders also accepted.

Small Claims up to a maximum of $3,000 and Civil cases can be filed weekdays 9am to 4pm; hearings are generally held the 2nd Wednesday of the month in the afternoon; limited number of cases heard at each session.
